Greenpeace Russia experts studied the composition of waste in the territory of the waste sorting complex in Izhevsk in Udmurtia. Volunteers from Udmurtia helped them. They put the trash into groups and weighed everything that was found in the random 2 cubic meters of waste.
The Republic of Udmurtia is one of the 5 Russian regions where Greenpeace Russia has conducted research within the Zero Waste Project.
The goal of the project is to achieve legislative restrictions on disposable goods and packaging made of plastic and other types of waste that are not recyclable.

Республика Удмуртия — один из 5 регионов России, где Greenpeace России провёл исследование в рамках проекта «Ноль отходов».
Цель проекта — добиться законодательного ограничения одноразовых товаров и упаковки из пластика и других видов отходов, которые не перерабатываются.
