Greenpeace and other organizations that are part of the ‘Campaign for a GMO-Free Brazil’ protest in front of the H.Q of Monsanto. The multinational company is selling GE soya that is causing increasing destruction of rainforests in South America as trees are cleared to meet agricultural demand.
The action was carried out by more than 200 protesters during the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
