Greenpeace activists stop a major transport of whale meat in the port of Rotterdam. The meat, 13 endangered fin whales is stored in seven containers and in transit from Iceland to Japan. The activists have chained themselves to the mooring ropes and displayed protest banners to prevent the container ship NYK ORION from leaving port with the meat. Greenpeace is calling on the Dutch authorities to seize the containers and halt the shipment.
