Press Conference in Amsterdam after Nuclear Action
Greenpeace Netherlands director Sylvia Borren talks to the press after the negative publicity around the action against the nuclear waste transport from Borssele power plant. Three containers with high level radioactive waste were brought from the plant to the COVRA (Centrale Organisatie Voor Radioactief Afval), a Dutch nuclear waste processing and storage company, by truck, from where the transport departed per train to the reprocessing plant La Hague in France. Greenpeace was preparing an action against this transport but the police arrested one of the activists during the preparations.

Greenpeace directeur Sylvia Borren spreekt met de pers na de negatieve publiciteit rond de afgeblazen actie tegen het kernafvaltransport . Drie containers met hoog radioactief afval werden per vrachtwagen van kerncentrale Borssele naar de Covra gebracht, vanwaar ze per trein werden vervoerd naar de opwerkingsfabriek La Hague in Frankrijk. Greenpeace had een actie gepland naar door arrestatie van een van de actievoerders tijdens de voorbereiding van de actie kon deze niet door gaan.
