Greenpeace protest against the destruction of Indonesian rainforest at the booth of paper producer Asian Pulp & Paper (APP) on the International trade fair Paperworld in Frankfurt. Greenpeace activists deliver a golden "chainsaw award". In Indonesia APP is clearcutting huge areas of forest for acacia plantations for paper production. Den Messestand eines der weltgroessten Papierherstellers Asian Pulp & Paper (APP) auf der internationalen Fachmesse 'Paperworld' in Frankfurt ziert eine goldene Kettensaege. Greenpeace Aktivisten demonstrieren mit der Uebergabe der Saege an den indonesischen Konzern gegen die fortschreitende Abholzung wertvoller Regenwaelder im Land. In Indonesien legt APP riesige Flaechen wertvoller Torfwaelder trocken, um schnell wachsende Akazien in Monokulturen anzupflanzen und Zellstoff fur Papier herzustellen. Auf dem Banner steht: APP - Groesster Regenwaldzerstoerer Indonesiens.
