Asheville Power Station Banner Action
Greenpeace activists deploy a giant banner on a chimney at Progress Energy's Asheville Power Station reading "Duke Energy The Climate Needs Real Progress. Progress Energy is about to merge with Duke Energy. Other activists prevented coal from being loaded into the plant by locking down to the conveyor and the loader with banners, as well as posting a banner at the plant's toxic ash pond reading "Stop Poisoning the Water."
