"Detox" Mannequins in Berlin
A mannequin bearing the "Detox" message appears in Berlin City palace to raise awareness for the urgent need for action from a number of major international clothing brands, including Nike and Adidas, who were found to have links with suppliers discharging hazardous chemicals into rivers in China. Greenpeace is calling on companies to champion a toxic-free future by working with their suppliers to eliminate all uses and releases of hazardous chemicals from their production processes and products.

"Detox" Mannequins in Berlin
Greenpeace places mannequins bearing a "Detox" message in front of known monuments of Berlin like the television tower on Alexanderplatz. The protest follows a Greenpeace investigation into toxic water pollution resulting from the release of hazardous chemicals by the textile industry in China and linked to the production of sport clothing from the sport giants Adidas and Nike.
