Orcinus Orca Whale at Vancouver Aquarium
The captured Orcinus orca whale Skana at Vancouver Aquarium. During experiments to test her visual acuity, Skana influenced Dr. Paul Spong to understand that whales were more intelligent than generally believed. Spong credited Skana with influencing his perception of whales and starting him on the path to recommend a Greenpeace whale campaign to save the endangered species of whales.
