Labels on Genetically Engineered Dairy in Germany
In more than 100 supermarkets in 33 cities Greenpeace is labelling Landliebe (Campina) products because of the use of genetically engineered fodder for milk production. The Greenpeace stickers on milk and yoghurt of the brand Landliebe reads the warning: "Genetic Engineering: hands off." Campina / Landliebe confirmed the feeding of genetically engineered crops to their cows, but refuses to give it up.
