Day of Climate Action in Florida
Greenpeace hired artist John Quigley with Spectral Q Productions from Los Angeles to choreograph over 400 activists to create two massive "human art" images. The first image was the State of Florida sinking into the sea. The second image was a woman representing mother earth drowning in sea level rise. Greenpeace and Project Hot Seat members issued a call for congressional candidates Ron Klein and E. Clay Shaw, Jr. to take immediate steps to dramatically reduce global warming pollution and protect Florida from climate change. Quigley has produced over 70 such works worldwide.
