Polar Pioneer Arrives in Port Angeles

A Greenpeace RHIB flies a People Vs Shell banner near the Polar Pioneer, a 400-foot-tall rig owned by Transocean and leased by Royal Dutch Shell, as the rig arrives on the Blue Marlin cargo lift ship. The rig, transported from Asia, will be staged in Seattle before heading to the Arctic waters off Alaska if Shell gets permission to drill.
