Mae Moh Hospital Patient in Thailand
Natthavala Promvichai sits with her mother Buakhui Promvichai after being brought to Mae Moh hospital for treatment as she was having severe difficulties in breathing. They live in close proximity to Mae Moh power plant and both her children have to be brought to hospital regularly with breathing problems associated with the pollution caused by the power plant.
Mae Moh coal power plant is the largest power plant with a capacity of 2,625 megawatts (MW) owned by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in Mae Moh district, in Lampang province, North of Thailand.
