The Port of Dahkla in Western Sahara
The port of Dahkla, Western Sahara, is the home port of the ex-EU trawlers that help Morocco exploiting the fish stocks in the waters off occupied Western Sahara. A Greenpeace report launched in December 2013 and titled "Exporting Exploitation: How retired EU fishing vessels are devastating West African fish stocks and undermining the rights of local people", shows how both EU fishing and Norwegian vessels are being exported to fish in the controversial waters of the territory of Western Sahara, occupied by Morocco.
