Fisherman Paints over Name of Vessel Nordic IV in Sweden
A fisherman is painting over the name of the vessel Nordic IV, in the port of Fiskebäck, Sweden. Nordic IV is one of the Swedish trawlers that have been exported to Western Sahara to help Morocco in the industrialized exploitation of the fish stocks off the coast of the occupied territory.
A Greenpeace report released in December 2013 "Exporting Exploitation: How retired EU fishing vessels are devastating West African fish stocks and undermining the rights of local people", shows how both EU fishing and Norwegian vessels are being exported to fish in the controversial waters of the territory of Western Sahara, occupied by Morocco.
