Action against Petit Navire at MWBrands HQ in Paris
Greenpeace activists place a replica of a Petit Navire tuna can reading in French "Shark, ray, turtle, juvenile tuna, Petit Navire, the delicious taste of slaughter" in front the MW Brands HQ in Paris. Banners are displayed reading in French "Petit Navire Year Assessment: 2000 tons captured species for nothing" and "95% of French people wants this to stop".
On and next to the can lie replicas of dead sharks covered in blood.
Greenpeace urges Petit Navire to source FADs free caught tuna. FADs (Fishing Aggregation Devices) are destructive fishing man-made objects, such as buoys or floats, used to attract ocean going pelagic fish.
