Local authorities talk to Greenpeace activists as they block the entrances to Lumber Liquidators' headquarters In Toano on the morning of the company's annual general meeting. The activists are protesting the company's links to illegally logged wood from the Brazilian Amazon. Last week Greenpeace released the results of a two year investigation into the Brazilian timber industry which showed that Lumber Liquidators has been doing business with timber exporters in Brazil that have direct ties to illegal logging in the Amazon.
