CSX workers attempt to contain and clean up the wreckage of a train carrying 8,000 tons of coal that derailed in Bowie, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. This aerial image shows the clean up on May 2nd. Three locomotive and 10 cars left the tracks according to the local fire department. This derailment came a day after another CSX train carrying crude oil derailed in Lynchburg, Virginia.
