Arctic Sunrise Arrives in Amsterdam
Faiza Oulahsen and Tomasz Dziemianczuk hold a Russian "Samovar" (teapot) which is a present from the Russian Greenpeace office, volunteers and supporters. The Arctic Sunrise arrives in Amsterdam, following her departure from Murmansk. The ship is welcomed by approximately 200 supporters. Faiza Oulahsen, one of the 'Arctic 30 group' speaks at the quay. The Greenpeace ship was detained in the Russian port city for over 300 days following a high profile protest against Arctic oil drilling in September 2013. Members of the group of Arctic 30 who were detained in Russia came to the Netherlands. They board the ship on its voyage to Amsterdam. It is the first time they see the ship after their departure from Russia.
