Greenpeace India activists hang from hoardings bearing the message: 'Clean Chai Now' to protest against the presence of pesticides in branded tea.

Greenpeace India launches the report “Trouble Brewing” and calls on the tea industry to remove all pesticides from their manufacturing procedures. The environmental organisation has tested a sample of 49 teas from companies that dominate the branded tea market in India and found the presence of pesticides, considered highly and moderately hazardous by the World Health Organization.
