The activists are working in solidarity with the villagers who resisted the state's efforts to expropriate their land so that Kolin could build a coal power plant. More than 5000 trees were illegally cut barely three weeks after brutal attacks on Turkish villagers and Greenpeace Mediterranean activists who tried to protect the olive grove from being unlawfully razed for a proposed Kolin Group coal power plant.
