Greenpeace activists protest for energy independence outside the German Chancellery in Berlin; for a move away from energy produced by fossil fuels to an expansion of renewable energy usage.

The activists protest, with a globe and banners, in English, German and Polish, during a meeting of the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and German chancellor Angela Merkel. The text on the globe reads:" Power to the People - Clean Energy Now!" and the banner reads ‘Energy Independence With Renewables’ (in Polish).
