Activists Question Shell Policy at Investor Meeting in Helsinki
Finnish activists attempt to embarrass Shell’ Chair of the Board Jorma Ollila at the Slush conference at Helsinki Kaapelitehdas, Finland. Some of ‘the most promising companies in Northern Europe, Russia, top-tier international investors and media’ were in attendance. As attendees arrived for the glamorous event, they were confronted with a huge banner calling on Ollila to ‘innovate out of the Arctic’ and leaflets pointing out how outdated and damaging Shell’s Arctic technology is.
