Protest against Acid Rain at Power Station Buschhaus
In April 1984 Greenpeace activists protest at the chimneys of coal-fired power plants in several European countries to draw attention to the dangers of acid rain. Greenpeace activists scale the highest chimney in Europe in August, at the Buschhaus power plant in West Germany, demanding that the plant will not be allowed to operate until desulphurisation has been installed.
