Forests Action at Cabinet Office in London
Forty Greenpeace volunteers entered the Cabinet Office in Whitehall and declared it an ancient forest crime scene, following an investigation which revealed the UK Government was about to install hundreds of new doors and windows made out of wood from Africa's last rainforests. Nearly two years previously, Tony Blair pledged to source all Government timber from 'legal and sustainable' sources. View of some of the GP activists struggling with some members of the Office.
