Greenpeace Activists Painting 'Transgênico' and 'GMO' on Cargo Ship
Greenpeace activists in inflatables painting 'Transgênico' and 'GMO' on cargo ship 'Saturn V', Rio Grande, Brazil. The Greenpeace ship 'Arctic Sunrise' and the Biosafety Inspection is part of the tour “Brazil melhor sem transgênicos” (Brazil is better without GE food crops). The activists inspected the 'Saturn V' in the port of Rio Grande, as the ship is suspected to be loaded with soya contaminated by genetically engineered (GE) soya developed by US agrochemical giant, Monsanto. This would be the first legal import of genetically engineered harvest to come to Brazil.
