Japanese whaling fleet kill a whale - Southern Ocean Tour 2005 - Sutton-Hibbert
The Yushin Maru catcher ship of the Japanese whaling fleet injures a whale with its first harpoon attempt, and takes a further three harpoon shots before finally killing the badly injured fleeing whale. In the end, they drown the mammal beneath the harpooon deck of the ship to kill it. Greenpeace is using every available means to bring the whaling hunt to an early end and make it the last time the Sanctuary is breached by the whalers.
