Melt Pool
This is a melt pool made by a glacier which has receded and melted away. The lines in the earth bank are sculpted by the movement of the glacier's retreat. Various features apparent in the Helheim glacier, on Eastern Greenland. Photographs made close to where the glacier feeds into the Sermilik Fjord.
