Greenpeace protest outside the ICI AGM in London over the continued production of ozone destroying chemicals, despite the existence of ozone-friendly alternatives. The activists dressed in white suits, sunglasses and sunblock to draw attention to increased damage to the ozone layer over Europe as reported by NASA the previous day.
