Kindergarten in Muslyumovo, where many of the children are sick and suffer from radiation diseases. They are either physical or mentally handicapped. Muslyumovo has been contaminated with radio-active material from 1947 until 1954 when the Mayak Chemical Nuclear Complex dumped their radio-active waste in the Techa River wich flows through Muslyumovo. Techa river is still highly radio-active, it is forbidden to swim, or drink from the river or grow vegetables at the banks. The village was never evacuated, most of its inhabitants are sick because of the radiation.
