Musicwood Tour SE Alaska 2006
Guitar maker Bob Taylor documented the 2006 Greenpeace sponsored Music Wood Tour of Southeast Alaska. Representatives of Greenpeace, Martin, Gibson, Taylor and other instrument manufacturers looked at the pristine areas of natural forest as well as clear cut forest practices to gain insight and understanding of the impacts of wood used in the music industry. This coalition sought to influence forest management practices on the ground in the Tongass National Forest of southeast Alaska.
