A group of sea ice scientists leave the ship to assess the possibility of working on an ice floe. They have chosen this floe to work on because of its topography, particularly the presence of a pressure ridge. The image is framed through the pilot door of the Arctic Sunrise, the icicles have formed at the top of the frame, due to a 'snap' freeze after warmer weather.
