Gloria Chang Wanki helps scientists who are gathering data about sea ice thickness at 80 degrees north between Svalbard and Greenland. Gloria who lives in Hong Kong joined the crew of the Arctic Sunrise as it travelled to the Arctic to facilitate the filed work of scientists. Also to witness the decline in extent of sea ice, in what may be one of the lowest summer extents.
