Greenpeace Proposes Essent New Destination Coal Plant Eemshaven
Greenpeace activist handing out leaflets to employees and visitors of the Essent office in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. On the leaflet a proposal for an alternative destination for the coal plant in the Eemshaven in Groningen is explaned. Recently the director of Essent said in an interview that with today's knowledge of clean energy methods the coal plant never would have been built. Greenpeace has asked its members to send in what they think it would be a good destination for the building under construction.

Greenpeace actievoerders delen leaflets uit aan werknemers en bezoekers van het kantoor van Essent in Den Bosch. Op het leaflet staat een voorstel voor een nieuwe bestemming voor de kolencentrale in de Eemshaven die nog in aanbouw is. Enige tijd geleden heeft de directeur van Essent in een interview gezegd dat met de huidige technologische kennis van schone energie de centrale nooit gebouwd zou zijn. Daarop heeft Greenpeace aan haar achterban gevraagd om ideeën in te sturen voor een nieuwe bestemming voor het gebouw.
