Greenpeace installs a five meters high scrap dinosaur in front of the high risk nuclear power plant Bohunice, calling upon EU to stop investing in nuclear energy. The Slovak Government had decided to extend the operation of Bohunice's two V-1 high-risk reactors beyond the year 2000. "Bohunice must be closed in the year 2000, as has been promised several times by Slovakia. The safety of the nuclear power plant is by no means guaranteed," said Alexander Egit, nuclear spokesman for Greenpeace Austria.
