Save the Dugong Action in Japan
Ribbons attached to barbed wire perimeter fence at American marine base, Camp Schwab, Henoko, Okinawa Island, Japan. The ribbons carry messages against war, President Bush and protests at the proposed building of an airbase on Henoko coral reef destroying the habitat of the rare sea mammal the Dugong forcing it nearer to extinction. Greenpeace and local activists are working to preserve this fragile marine environment.
