Traditional Housing on the Canal
Local wooden houses on Dao Khanong canal. In front of the house, polluted water is flowing from one canal to the other before flowing into Chao Phraya river. Some canals carry polluted water from different sources- in most cases factories are major sources of pollution.
Dao Khanong Canal is connected to the lower reach of Chao Phraya. This canal is one of the famous canals for tourist sightseeing because of the temples, local houses, restaurants, snake farm, and fruit farms.
