Greenpeace staffed a booth at the Coal USA Conference to call attention to the negative effects of coal including asthma in children. "The Institute for Energy Solutions" a shell company that hosted part of the conference, had part of the booth. Exhibits included asthma inhalers with the tag "Coal Takes My Breath Away," vases of flowers in black coal water and breathing masks for asthma suffers displayed on coal.
