Greenpeace activists set up camp outside the BLCP coal plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand. Supported by Greenpeace flagship the Rainbow Warrior activists had earlier climbed a loading crane at the coal plant and unfurled banners demanding its immediate closure, calling on the Thai government to phase out coal power and to commit to renewable energy. The Rainbow Warrior is in Thailand waters on the final leg of its Asia Energy Revolution Tour.
