Greenpeace protests against the Government’s decision to reject the Anti-Nuclear-Referendum. Activists construct a gravestone for Austria’s anti-nuclear-politics and lay down a floral wreath by it. The Referendum meant to bind Austria to a consequent anti-nuclear-politics in Europe through a change in the Constitution. The inscription on the gravestone dates the birth of the Austrian-anti-nuclear-politics on the year of the Referendum against Zwentendorf in 1978 and it’s possible death on the day of the action, the 20th of January 2004.
