Acid Rain Actions - Photomontage
Composite picture of four action against acid rain that took place on the same day.
During the International Acid Rain Week, Greenpeace members in Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland and UK climbed power station and oil refinery chimney stacks to bring public and governmental attention to the problem of acid rain - caused by sulphur dioxide (SO2) emissions. The banners hung by Greenpeace form the word "STOP".
