Forests Action in Crans Montana Switzerland
Swiss Greenpeace demonstrators protest against the felling of 50.000 square metres of forest in Crans Montana in Canton Valais, venue for the 1987 World Ski Championships, to provide facililities for the event. A banner is hanged in the trees reading: 'SCHÜTZ DEN SCHUTZWALD - PROTÉGEZ LA FÔRET QUI NOUS PROTÈGE' translated in English: 'PROTECT THE PROTECTION FOREST'
It is the first original Swiss action of Greenpeace.
