Pesticides Action Against Leclerc in France
Greenpeace activists block the entrances of SOCAMIL, Leclerc's central buying service, in Toulouse. Greenpeace climbers unfurl a giant banner on the warehouse reading "Pesticides for everybody" while two containers block the main entrance. The activists also dump 15 tones of pesticides contaminated soil and deploy a banner reading "Support a Zero Pesticides agriculture". Greenpeace urges Leclerc, French retailer, to change its low costs policy by supporting a zero pesticides supply chain on fruits and vegetables cultivated by the farmers and sold in Leclerc supermarkets.
