Wahidin, 56 year-old farmer, explains that his farm is polluted with toxic wastewater from PT. Kahatex that goes into Cikijing River. This was confirmed during the field trial of the law suit on wastewater discharge permit that was released by Sumedang Regency to PT Kahatex, PT Five Star and Insan Sandang Internusa in Sumedang, West Java. The three companies allegedly were discharging their waste to farms and river areas surrounding the neighbourhood for almost 20 years.
