Sukho Ubolthip, Director of Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation Division at the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), salutes to villagers from Chachoengsao after announcing the rejection of the coal plant proposal in the region. The decision, taken by the Environmental Expert Commission (EEC), was celebrated by Khao Hin Son anti-coal network, an anti-coal group fighting for around seven years to stop this coal plant project belonging to "Double A" paper company.
