Villagers from Chachoengsao province listen to Sukho Ubolthip, Director of Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation Division at the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), to know whether the coal plant proposal get the approval or not. Khao Hin Sorn anti-coal network rallied at the ONEP demanding that the Government not give the go-ahead for a 600-MW coal-power plant belonging to “Double A” company, as they believe it would affect their health and the environment of the region.
