The fountain of Kiara now turned into a spring of the Cikijing river at Rancaekek, West Java. The rice paddies in the area are facing crop failure due to the use of polluted water. The water for irrigation comes from the river which is polluted by toxic waste from the clothing industry present in the neighbourhood.
