Rainbow Warrior People’s Energy Tour in South Korea
The Rainbow Warrior is in South Korea for a three week tour as part of Greenpeace’s campaign to push the Korean government to change its energy policy.
The government is planning to build two more reactors at the Kori Nuclear Power Plant, the world’s largest nuclear power plant complex, located between Busan and Ulsan. The plant already has six reactors and there are around 3.4 million people living within the 30km zone around the plant.
Local people visit the ship during an open boat day.
