During the launch of the World Meat Free Week (17th to 23rd June 2019) in Sao Paulo participants are offered meat & dairy free food prepared by cooks. Various speeches and concerts are also organised.
The World Meat Free Week campaign challenges people to leave the meat and other animal products off their plate for seven days.
But the campaign’s initiative goes far beyond taking certain products off people’s plate. It is, above all, an invitation to reflect on the need for change.
Our actions and choices, individual and collective, have impact on ourselves, on other beings and on our planet. So this week’s challenge is an opportunity to start the change.
