“Plastic Zero Korea” Petition Delivery to the Minister of Environment, South Korea
Greenpeace East Asia Seoul office delivered 106,661 petitions and an official letter to the Minister of Environment via MoE (Ministry of Environment) officials. The petition calls for strong regulation on the production of single-use plastics (SUP).
Two Greenpeace volunteers also accompanied to deliver the "Plastic Zero Grocery Store Map" they made in April, asking the MoE to implement stronger regulations on SUP so that alternative systems are in place that give a right to citizens not to use SUP.
