Release of Sea Turtle in the Tyrrhenian Sea

A loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) is released at Tavolara, Sardinia, after three months of caring in a specialized center. The animal expelled plastic for a month before recovering.
Greenpeace together with the CNR-IAS and the University of the Marche region carry out a tour in the Tyrrhenian Sea to document the plastic and microplastics pollution in the marine ecosystem.
